Hip hop is dead, and mainstream was the gun that was use to kill her. see i have this crazy theory that the government is using music as a weapon, a weapon to dumb down the youth, they dont want us to know the truth, they don't want protest, angry mob, and riots. which i understand, no one wants the 90's all over again. so instead of putting actual good rappers on mainstream they use pawns like soulja boy, young money, 50 cent, and rick ross to do their dirty work, too ruin the minds the youth with songs about money cars drugs and pussy, so these kids grow up with money cars drugs and pussy as their goals, they don't think for them self. so they don't see the real problems like corrupt politicians, college scam, and world hunger and they become apart of the problem. remember music like, fuck the police? or fight the power? or black cops? i don't i was born in 92, and when i was old enough to enjoy hip hop (early 2000's) music like that simply didn't exist anymore. the goverment took over. see i think the goverment is strong enfough to controls everything from whats in your ipod to what you eat. they are brainwashing us all and we dont even know it. why? to distract us so we wont see all the fuck up shit that there are doing. but i can understand this to. to protect someone you love you gotta do somethings your not proud of. but i think they are approaching the problem the wrong way. instead of misseducating young why not educate them and teach them understand? because it cost more money and we need that money to build more nuclear weapons, and also if they taught us there would always be that thought in the back of their head that we would wake up one day and..... Revolution.
but yeah that's my crazy thoughts about hip hop. i know there's contradictions and what not but don't take it serious cuz i didn't.
